A message from Rick

Rick wrote to OFs with news from Frensham about the Coronavirus
Like the rest of the world, we’re living through unusual times and I wanted to let you know that we’re thinking of our OFs too.

You may be aware that government advice in the UK is that schools close this Friday. We will continue to educate remotely via Microsoft Teams. Our extraordinary staff, despite anxieties and challenges of their own, are doing the very best to teach and support the students in these challenging times.

It is at moments like these that the true Frensham spirit shines through and it is what makes this such a special place. No doubt there will be more challenges to come but it’s truly heart-warming to see students, staff and parents looking out for each other; when there isn’t an obvious ‘fix’, being kind is a great place to start and it’s wonderful to see that in action around our campus.

Looking ahead, with schools now closed we are unsure about future events. At the moment, we are working for Founders’ Day, the 95th celebrations and the 1957 film screening to go ahead, but in the event we need to cancel or reschedule, we’ll be in touch to let you know.

In the meantime, I’m sending warm wishes from all of us at Frensham and hope you continue to stay well.

With best wishes

Rick Clarke
