Aldridge Theatre comes back to lifeOur fabulous Aldridge Theatre is back and open for performances after a very quiet eighteen months. This is a fantastic facility that numerous OFs would have performed in or learnt backstage skills during their time at Frensham. On Sunday 3rd October, it hosted a sold-out performance of Adam Buxton Rambles. This was the first time in a long while that the theatre had 300 patrons through its doors and many of those were there for the first time and all enjoyed an excellent show. Monday 4th October saw the theatre hired out by the production team of the comedian Ross Noble. Ahead of his UK tour, they needed to check the inflatable set that will be the backdrop to Ross's show and the Aldridge stage proved to be the ideal location. As well as a number of upcoming school productions, including Peter Pan, the Junior School Christmas production, Music and Dance performances and A Midsummer Night's Dream, our theatre manager, Shaun Weager, is putting together an exciting professional receiving season. For further information on the theatre, or if you are interested in hiring the Aldridge, please do get in touch. Ticketing information for all future shows will be sent out to the OFs going forward. |
