Jon (or 'Lambie' as he was affectionately known) was Head of History at Frensham between 1998 and 2003 and will be very fondly remembered by his colleagues and students alike. A lover of the great outdoors, Jon led many of our Outdoor Education activities - surfing trips, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, numerous camps and mountain hikes. His form outings were incredibly popular - trips to London and punting in both Oxford and Cambridge to name a few. Jon left Frensham to lead the History Department at St. Edward's, Oxford where he continued to teach until very recently. Jon was a true inspiration to those he worked with and taught; an amazing man of great character and humour who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
