Meet Our Creators

Fox & Furb

For this special collaboration, we have designed a collection inspired by the school's colours, creativity and spirit. Our aim is to bring joy through functional, fun design that feels personal and vibrant - our collaborative range of products for Frensham is perfect for gifting or everyday use.

Our products are created using sustainable materials, like our Eco Friendly velvet which is made from 100%rPET (Recycled plastic bottles/polyester).

We're thrilled to contribute to the school's community with this unique, limited-edition range and have enjoyed designing these beautiful products for Frensham where I was once a student, bringing the creativity full circle.

Make Me Something Special

We founded Make Me Something Special in 2007, starting with handcrafted chopping boards and has grown to offer over 200 bespoke designs, from personalised benches and toy boxes to engraved plaques and keepsake boxes.

Our craftsmanship has attracted clients from families and schools to prestigious names including Penguin Books, The Goring Hotel, and even the Royal Family.

Sustainably sourced wood and traditional woodworking techniques remain at the heart of everything we do. Every creation is made with care, precision, and pride - designed to be cherished for a lifetime.

Studio Tam

Hello. I'm Tamara Bartsch, the artist behind Studio Tam. I grew up in France in a multicultural family with a British mum and a German dad, which meant bouncing between languages, cultures and a mix of quirky traditions.

I've always been the creative one. The child drawing stories instead of following the rules. I later studied art and theatre which deepened my love for characters, emotions and visual storytelling.

Today I create playful illustrations with hidden details for greetings cards, prints, calendars, stickers.

I was at Frensham from 1996-2000 - a truly amazing school where, for the first time, I felt like I belonged. At Frensham being different wasn't just accepted, it was celebrated. My years there nurtured my creativity and shaped the joyful, slightly whimsical style I'm known for today.

Van Buskirk Jewellery

Van Buskirk Jewellery is handcrafted by my husband Mike, who has over 25 years' experience designing and creating bespoke pieces from his workshop in London's Hatton Garden jewellery quarter, at The Goldsmiths' Centre.

In 2012, we married and together we now run the business. From the smallest repair to the most intricate commission, we strive to meet each customer's individual requests. While Mike focuses on crafting unique designs, I ensure these one-of-a-kind pieces reach the right audience.

We enjoyed developing this design brief for Frensham Heights, a school surrounded by beautiful trees including the cedar that has meant so much to generations at Frensham. For me, Frensham and its grounds were filled with happy memores, where I made lifelong friends.

Cass Art

My name is Mark Cass. My father Wilfred Cass (CBE) and his brother Eric were both students of Frensham Heights as children, after they had to flee 1930's Germany. My father credits his industrious nature to the education he received here – indeed it was where he started his first business, a bicycle repair company!

Growing up, my father used to say, "There's a little bit of artist pigment in our blood." I think he may have been right - I founded Cass Art in 1984 and my vision from then remains today: "Let's fill this town with artists". It was in this spirit that we were delighted to collaborate with Frensham to create a couple of sketchbooks featuring artworks by two of their talented students. Much like the ethos of Frensham, at Cass Art we work hard to encourage & grow all the creative talent this island holds – which we do by giving everyone access to the best art materials available both in our stores, and online.
